April Brings A Move!

We loved our house that we built in McKinney, when we first moved from Oklahoma. If we could have picked it up and placed it in a different neighborhood, it would have been perfect. We had been kicking around the idea of moving for months and finally decided to move forward. We met a fantastic realtor, who stages her homes that she lists. I think that made all the difference, as we sold in 9 days!

It was a whirlwind. We got an offer on our house and put an offer on our future home on the same day! Needless to say, Griff was a huge help in the process....

This was at lunch with our realtor, going over the offers. First time ever to try a pickle and loved them! The manager, who we are total bff's with, brought Griffin a whole plate of them :)

 Hey guys, are we moving??

Somewhere in during the packing, there was a tornado. Mr. Man got plucked out of his crib and put into the pantry. He has two earthquakes and a tornado in his repertoire!

While Griffin was a big helper, Baxter was not. Upset by the sudden flow in visitors seeing the house, Baxter took to going potty behind large pieces of heavy furniture. This is Griffin comforting Baxter after his first dose of Kitty Prozac.
Yes. I. Did.

Boxes, boxes, boxes.

All the forbidden cabinets and drawers were suddenly up for grabs!

This was Upstairs Bedrooms Day. Clearly, Griffin was active in the organization process.

Surveying his new backyard.

We are in a beautiful home. I am so thankful for all of our many blessings.

9 Month Photos!

In February, Griff had his 9 Month photo session with my dear friend, Lindsay. She has been the one to beautifully capture my little love's milestones, we are so grateful for her talent. These are a few of my favorites :)

How beautiful is he? I love him so very much.

Griffin's First Haircut

March 3, 2012: It was decided that Griffin would receive his first haircut. It was so cute seeing him sit there so patiently, very interested in the shears and the trimmers. Eventually, we had to pull out the goldfish, but he was still a great boy!

I cried afterwards. He no longer looked like a baby.

Five Months Behind.

How did this happen? Oh, right. We moved. And then Griff turned 1...and then it was summer. And then, and then, and then.

I will try as best I can to catch up. I don't want to forget the highlights of my little Bugaboo's life, for it is  a sweet one :)
